Japan 2018 Day 5: Osaka

DAY 5: 26 NOV 2018
Waterfall at Minoo Park
Another day awaits us!
I chanced upon Minoo Park on Instagram's explore page and went on to find out more about it.
Through the articles online, Minoo Park is one of the best places to view fall foliage in Osaka.
Since the shops in Osaka tend to open later in the morning,
I decided to bring my family for a morning hike!

Minoo station is where you should alight to get to Minoo Park.
As we were staying at Namba, it was a tad tedious to get there.
After two transfers, we finally arrived at Minoo station.

The climb up was easy compared to other hikes I have taken.
It was a 2.7 km hike to the waterfall and I was surrounded by beautiful autumn colours
during the entire journey.

The waterfall, though small, is actually very stunning with the surrounding fall foliage.
Definitely made the climb worthwhile.

You can also spot the numerous Japanese families having a picnic by the waters after their hike up.

There were some local street food stalls along the way.
When you are at Minoo Park, you must try out the maple leaves tempura.
The taste is average but at least you have tried it once!

After exploring Minoo Park, we returned to Namba for more shopping.
We explored the remaining sections of Shinsaibashi before ending our day with dinner.

Snow crab legs
Kushikatsu
There were lots of food options at Dotonbori.
The crowd speaks for itself.

That's it for Day 5 (:
